As part of our ongoing commitment to the highest standards of safeguarding, we have appointed six Safeguarding Ambassadors.
These Year 9 students are level 1 trained and will act as advocates for their peers, knowing that sometimes young people find it easier to talk to each other than to adults. We received nearly 20 applications for this prestigious role and the process was tough with an interview panel and rigorous questions.
Last week, the new team met to agree their vision for the role and to create a plan of action to secure impact after half term. We are excited to see how our first ever Safeguarding Ambassadors will progress!
